Is it possible to power a home or estate 100% off-grid?

Yes, it is possible just like it has been achieved in many country-side homes around the world, it can be achieved here in Nigeria too by extracting energy from natural sources.

What do you mean by Hybrid-Energy sources to power your estate and how sustainable are they?

Hybrid simply means more than one source and our estate will be exploring a combination of nature’s gifts to generate power needs for the estate. Simply because it’s from nature makes it sustainable as it becomes renewed each new day year-round at no extra cost.

What is the cost of maintenance of the hybrid renewable energy source to be installed in each apartment?

There is zero cost of maintenance required the moment installation is complete. Manufacturer’s warranty varies from 1-10 years depending on the component of the hybrid system in question.  

Can I power my generator within my apartment in the estate?

We do not allow the use of generators in our estate, because they release poisonous fumes into the atmosphere thereby endangering human health and the environment. They also cause noise pollution.

How can I be sure I will not run out of energy in my apartment at any particular point in time?

We will provide each apartment with a battery power-bank that will supply 48KWH of energy per day. An average family home in the Western world uses an average of 30KWH of energy per day. This implies you have more than enough energy to power you through every day year-round.

How do I monitor my energy consumption during the day to be sure I don’t run out.

A smart electricity meter will be installed in each apartment which will help track the amount of energy generated and consumed. A profile of usage can be plotted from this device over time. If any appliance is consuming too much energy, it will be easily identified and appropriate action can be taken.

Will my family have access to hot water for bathing?

A solar hot water tank will be installed per apartment. This will take care of all your hot water needs.

What is the estate waste management plans?

We will install a Bio-Digester system in the estate which will collect all human and kitchen waste into a chamber then converts them into cooking gas and water. The cooking gas can then be re-directed into homes to supplement gas needs.


How do you plan to manage cooking gas and possible fire-hazard in homes since electric cooker can’t be used?

We will install a cooking gas leak-sensor alarm for gas leaks. To maintain safety standard, we will also install the cooking gas and its gas cylinders per home to avoid inadvertent installation of an expired gas cylinder which can endanger other residents.

How true is it that bricks are stronger than cement blocks?

This is an already proven theory worldwide and we have proven this as well. Our interlocking bricks are 10 times stronger than an average block on the street. See compressive strength test video link below.

Are brick houses truly cooler than cement block houses?

Yes, brick houses are not only 4-5% cooler than a normal blockhouse but they also provide your home with fireproof, soundproof and bulletproof properties at no extra cost. They save you electricity cost of cooling the house during hot seasons and plastering of the walls are optional.

What are the mode of paying for the off-plan sales ongoing?

There are 4 instalment payment plans of 25% instalment payment every 6 months. Your money is secured and you can pull out of the estate plan anytime while only suffering 5% administrative fee charges in this regard.

How can we be assured the standard of the estate facilities will be sustained over a long period?

The estate will be primarily managed by our company hence you can rest assured we will keep the quality of the facilities at its highest levels.

How much extra are we expected to pay for energy and amenities maintenance after moving into our homes?

You won’t pay anything for the power supply for at least 10 years during the warranty period of the hybrid renewable power source. However, you will need to pay a facility maintenance fee every month to keep the facilities in good condition for a very long time. This small amount will be worked out at the time of moving into the estate after completion.

What happens after the 10 years: will my power source require outright replacement or overhaul?

10 years is only the end of the manufacturer’s warranty period but doesn’t stop the hybrid renewable system from functioning as usual. Going forward, any fault or repairs will be at the owner’s expense which is normal for most products manufactured.
